Dear Parents,

This week we have been learning about 3-D shapes, cones, cylinders and cubes.  We learned about

I am sending home the November calendar today along with the November parent/child activity.  It is a turkey feather, decorate it at home with your child and send it back to school.  We will put all of the feathers on a big turkey and he will look extra special with all of the unique feathers made by each of you.

We tasted hard boiled eggs for Tasting Tuesday.  I introduced the letter E and we learned the magic sound E makes.  We also learned the sign language sign for E and Elephant and the animated alphabet gesture for E.   We colored our E pages also.

I assessed the students this week on same and different and big and small.  These will go in their portfolio and you will get them at the end of the year.  Continue to practice these concepts at home.  

We made orange pumpkins this week and a Halloween book.  A big thank you for everyone who helped with the Halloween party!
