Next week: Letter H, share H items on Friday
Dear Parents,
We celebrated Shawn’s birthday on Monday and we played pin the tail on the donkey.
This week we have been learning about sorting objects with one and two attributes. We learned a song about this called, “Sorting Our Clothes.” You can help your child by sorting objects around your home.
We tasted grapes for Tasting Tuesday. I introduced the letter G and we learned the magic sound G makes. We learned the sign language sign for G and goat. We also learned the animated alphabet gesture for the sound G makes. (gliding) Ask your child if he or she can show you any of these.
I am gone today to attend an Autism training at ESU and I will be gone on Monday the 16th for a Family Service Coordinator training in Topeka. Ms. Cara will be my substitute.
Thank you for bringing items to share that start with the letter E. We had an ellipse, (oval) Easter egg, eagle, the number eight, an elephant, Elmo, an ewe, elastic, an envelope, the letter E, an equal sign, elf, Elizabeth brought herself and we all brought our ears and eyes.
We had many items for the letter F also. We had a Frisbee, Flo (from Cars), a flashlight, flower, fairy, fish, a foam number four (puzzle piece), a frog, fruit, fork, a number five, flip flops, Fox in Socks book, (by Dr. Seuss and we all brought our face and fingers.
