*NO SCHOOL on Friday 10/9, it is an early dismissal day.

Dear Parents

Thank you for bringing items to share that starts with the letter B.  We had bubbles we blew outside, a basketball, a blue balloon, a baby, a blanket, Boston baked beans, band aides, a box, a big book, bubble wrap, a bumpy Bumble Ball, a blue brush, a basket, a blue Braves shirt, a blue baseball shirt and another baseball shirt.  Whew, That’s a lot of B words!

This week on tasting Tuesday, we tasted carrots for the letter C.  We learned the sign language sign for C and cup.  We also learned the magic sound C makes and the animated alphabet gesture for C. 

We learned the “Big and Small” song this week and continue working on the concept same and different along with big and small.

I am still missing a few pumpkins, please decorate the pumpkin with your child and send it back to school.

The October calendar is coming home today on the back is the list for the Halloween party.  I still need some helpers for the party; if you are interested in filling the vacant spots please contact me.

I am taking a personal day on October 8^th; I will be in St. Louis.  There will be a sub that day.

Help needed:                                                                                                                    

 *We could use some extra snacks at school for when people forget to send them.  

*Please mark your child’s jacket or coat.

We celebrated Elizabeth’s birthday today.  Happy Birthday to Elizabeth who turns 5 on Sunday and to myself, but I am not telling how old I will be!  J

I can’t believe it is October already!  I have scheduled your parent/teacher conference time on this note.  Let me know if this time and date works for you or if we need to find another time to schedule. 

Mark, cut and return this portion by Monday, October 5^th.
