Dear Parents,

This week we tasted apricots for the letter A and most of the students really liked them.  I continued to administer CIRCLE assessments this week and they are almost done. 

We are in the kitchen this week and learned “The Sink Song”.  We talked about the name of a book is called the title, the person who wrote the book is called the author and the person who drew the pictures is the illustrator. 

We made apple prints with red, yellow and green apples this week.

I will be gone on Tuesday of next week for an Autism team meeting in Emporia.  There will be a sub for me and your children will be in good hands.  Ms. Marjie and Ms. Lora will still be here.

I will allow students to pick a treasure from the treasure box on Friday’s if they have earned it.  We had several students who were able to get in the treasure box today for using the bathroom and we had a few last week.  Keep up the good work!

I am still missing some All About Me books, apples and preschool licenses.  Please finish them and send them to school.  Thank you to everyone who has sent them back already.
