USD 417 Professional Development Plan
The Kansas State Board of Education officially approved the USD 417 Five Year Inservice Plan effective 8-1-08 through 7-30-13 at their April, 2009 meeting. With this approval, USD 417 may design and implement a professional development plan which provides for licensure renewal of our licensed district employees and licensed district community members.
To enroll in the USD 417 Professional Development Plan, please contact Kelly Gentry at the district office. Current licensed district staff enroll each fall by signing up during one of our first back-to-school staff development days.
The 2009-2010 Professional Development Activity Plan listed below outlines the approved activities which will be sponsored by our district and by each building. Licensure points will be awarded based on attendance at these activities. There is also space for staff members to add individual activities approved with an Individual Development Plan (IDP) so all professional activities can be summarized for each school year on one form.
