District Academic Council (DAC)
The District Academic Council (DAC) is a K-12 district-wide group of community members, teachers, administrators, and board representatives that make recommendations to the Board of Education regarding curriculum, instruction, and assessment. They meet monthly at the district office. Each subject area in the district is studied in detail according to a schedule called the "USD 417 Long Range Plan," which the DAC oversees.
The DAC also studies district student achievement data. USD 417 2008 State Assessment results are available below. If you are unable to view this powerpoint or would like to visit about this information, please contact any building principal or the central office.
