Early Childhood Screening

to schedule an appointment. Screenings start at 8:00 am.
Please bring your child’s:
~ Birth Certificate
~ Immunization Records
~ Health Information
*A Tiny Tots teacher will be present to screen children birth-3 years of age
*All new preschoolers and upcoming Kindergarten students (who have not already attended Kindergarten Round Up) are encouraged to attend the developmental screening.
This screening is required for consideration to attend the USD 417 Pre-K classroom.
All children that will be 4 by August 31st will be placed until all class slots are filled.
The DIAL 3 screening tool will be used to assess the
following developmental areas:
- Large & Fine Motor
- Speech/Language
- Cognitive Concepts
*Vision and Hearing screenings will also be available.
Staff will meet individually with parents to discuss your child’s results.
