Prairie Heights PTO
PTO - What is it? It is an organization open to anyone interested in their school. It is Parents & Teachers working together to help each other further the education and experiences of our children.
PTO funds many activities for the students, and purchases items for the Prairie Heights buildings. The following are a few of the examples:
Prairie Heights Twister T-shirts to new students
Book Fair at Prairie Heights
Field Day for grades K-6
Summer Band Lessons
Summer Swim Lessons
Incentive Programs
School Assemblies
Field Trips
Perfect Attendance/Honor Roll Awards
Accelerated Reader tests and books
Spring Carnival
Our funding for these events depends on the willing and interested volunteers throughout the school year.
How can I become involved? It is easy, just come to our PTO meetings. We are always needing more people with valuable thought and ideas. We meet 3 times in the fall and 3 times in the spring. Our meetings are held on Mondays during the following months: August, September, October, January, February and April. The meetings are from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Please click on PTO Minutes section for current year meeting dates.
