The Office of Civil Rights (OCR) has developed an agreement which USD 417 has
agreed to in principal to resolve the complaint filed this fall in relation to the MS
volleyball program. At a special meeting held on Monday, December 14, 2012, the
BOE voted to conditionally ratify the resolution of agreement. The BOE and OCR
continue to define language in regards to item #3 in the agreement. Work towards
this definition is hoped to be completed in the coming weeks.
