Professional Development Council (PDC)
The USD 417 Professional Development Council (PDC) is a representative group of teachers and administrators who by law must regularly meet, develop a 5-year plan, count points, approve Individual Development plans, establish and evaluate professional development opportunities, attend annual PDC training, and train teachers about re-licensure. In our district, the PDC also serves as the district sick leave bank committee.
