Welcome, May!

Did you ever imagine our school year would pass by so quickly? We are already beginning to see signs that our 2007-2008 school year will soon be coming to an end. First grade students have been encouraged to "show what they know" on the Gates MacGinitie reading test. They are working extra hard for a few minutes each morning to put their vocabulary and comprehension skills to the test. I am proud of their effort to do their best on this assessment. They will also participate in Grade 1 end of the year testing by our Title l staff May 7-9.
Please don't forget our Spring Music Program on Monday, May 12th, at 6:00 p.m. The students are so excited! I'm sure it will be a great evening for everyone.
