CGES and PHES go Schoolwide Title I in 2010-2011! What does this mean? In previous years each elementary building has been a Targeted Title I school. Title I staff could only work with certain students who met the Title I criteria. Now being Schoolwide Title I, the Title I staff can work will all students. Every teacher is considered a Title I teacher and every student is considered a Title I student. (That is why all parents were required to sign the Title I Parent/Teacher Compact at enrollment.) This is a good move for CGES/PHES.
