ABOUT OUR SCHOOL:
(PHES), is located at the west edge of Dwight, KS. Originally Dwight Rural High School, the building was opened in 1954, later becoming Dwight Elementary School, which housed grades K-8. In 1998 the name was changed to Prairie Heights Elementary School. It now houses grades K-4, plus preschool services, and a day care center. The main building contains five graded classrooms, and a music room, which houses a strong and popular daily music program. The building is well maintained and air-conditioned and has a large regulation size gymnasium, spacious grounds and a stage for presentations and theater performances.
