Wall Tests
by Bob Frye
"Wall Tests" are the short, local assessments our district has developed to monitor the progress of our students, based on tested indicators from the State Math Assessment. They usually consist of anywhere from four to ten questions and mirror the type of items students will see on this exam.
Students must pass these assessments with at least a 75% or will be required to come in for additional help and retest until he or she is able to pass.
They are called "Wall Tests" because we have a progress chart on the wall of the room tracking everyone's successes.
You can get an idea of the type of questions on the wall tests by clicking on the State Assessment Indicators links on the State Assessment Information page.
