CGHS Homecoming 2008

Homecoming 2008 was celebrated at Council Grove High School on Friday September 26th. We attended the parade in the afternoon and really enjoyed the class floats. We agree with the judges, who selected the Junior Class float as the 1st place winner. We also liked catching the candy that was thrown our way. When we divided the candy we all got seven or eight pieces.
Several members in our class actually participated in the parade. Sam and Jacob were on the football float, and Melissa walked with her softball team, the CG Fires, who were the 8 and under state champions last summer. Kyler road on the After School Program float. His costume was neat and we were proud to see him leading his braves.
